1. A smart meter
Wiener Netze has been installing smart meters since 2018. By law, grid operators in Austria must have converted at least 95% of their electricity meters to smart meters by the end of 2024. If you do not yet have a smart meter installed, we will be happy to help you. preferred to get one – the changeover usually takes about 2 to 8 weeks.
2. Your metering point number
The metering point number (also Metering point designation or ZP number) is a unique identification number for an electricity or gas connection in Austria. It always begins with AT, followed by a Number sequence with a total of 33 digits, e.g.:AT00100000000000000010000123456789
3. Your credit rating number
The disclosure code (short BKZ) indicates which substation Your power connection is connected – and even which exact "branch" of this substation you are connected to. Using this key figure, we can determine exactly which of our renewable energy communities You can join. You can change your credit reporting number here query.
