We will launch a project in February 2026. new citizens' energy community (BEG) for Vienna and the surrounding area. Our goal is clear: to make regionally produced, green electricity accessible to all involved under fair and balanced conditions. – for households 🏠, small businesses 🏪 and feed-in customers alike.

⚖️ Fairness as a basic principle

As with our existing renewable energy communities (EEGs), we are consistently focusing on the new BEG as well. fair and solidarity-based tariffs. That means:

Purchase price: 9.16 cents net per kWh ⚡
Prosumer compensation: 7.66 cents net per kWh 🔄
Feed-in-only compensation: 7.16 cents net per kWh(also applies to large feed-in systems)

This results in a [benefit/disadvantage] for consumers. Pure energy price of only 10.99 cents per kWh incl. VAT. – a particularly attractive value in the BEG sector ✅.

Additionally, members of the Wiener Netze electricity grid benefit from a Network cost savings of approximately 20 % on the network energy price at so-called SNAP times 💸.

(Tariffs are valid for 12 months each – thus until 31.12.2026)

📍 100 % regional electricity from Vienna and the surrounding area

The electricity traded in the BEG originates exclusively from Vienna and the surrounding area 🏙️🌳. This keeps added value in the region, minimizes transport losses, and provides targeted support for local production facilities ☀️.

Our citizen energy community is aimed at all Viennese people, which are currently do not yet have access to one of our EEGs have.

👥 For whom is the BEG particularly suitable?

🏠 households, who want to obtain electricity cheaply and sustainably
🏪 Small businesses, who appreciate predictable and fair energy prices
🔌 Feed-in suppliers and prosumers, who want to market their electricity regionally and in a solidarity-based manner

Households and small businesses will be given priority. As soon as one of our renewable energy sources (REGs) is available in an area, priority integration is planned 🔄.
