At EEG WIEN, not only is our membership growing – our team is also expanding. 😊

However, our new team member is neither in the office nor can we be heard on the phone. Martin is our new AI agent. and will now support us in communicating via WhatsApp and Signal.

Who is Martin? 🤖

Martin is a digital employee specifically designed to answer our members' questions and help with simple requests.

He's still in the middle of his learning phase and is constantly being developed. Therefore, it's possible that Martin might not be able to answer a question yet. In that case, our human team is of course still here for you. ❤️

His greatest strength lies primarily in the fact that he at any time of day or night is reachable.

Whether it's early morning, the weekend, or late at night – you can ask a question anytime. 💬🕐

More time for the important things

For us, the focus is not on the technology, but on the benefit for our members.

Our team receives many inquiries daily. A large proportion of these concern recurring questions and information that can be easily answered automatically.

When Martin takes over these tasks, our employees will have more time for those matters where personal contact and individual support are important.

Technology takes over the routine – people take care of people. ❤️

Why are we doing this?

As a non-profit energy cooperative, we pay particular attention to using our costs wisely.

Artificial intelligence can help us to make our workflows more efficient while significantly improving accessibility.

This is particularly interesting for us because we can use it combining service and profitability.

Less effort with recurring requests ultimately means that resources remain where they benefit our members.

A small experiment with a big potential 🚀

We don't see Martin as a finished solution, but as exciting future project.

We want to gather experience, observe what works well, and improve Martin step by step. It's important to us to be transparent about the use of artificial intelligence.

Based on our current knowledge, we are one of the first energy communities in Vienna to use artificial intelligence so consistently in member communication.
