EEG Vienna launches its own YouTube channel
How does an energy community work and what does EEG WIEN stand for? Our new video provides an insight – in German and in English.
Some ideas are best explained through moving images. That's why EEG WIEN is now also on YouTube. In our first video, we introduce our energy community and show what drives us: sharing regionally generated energy and connecting people and businesses in Vienna.

Sharing regional energy
Energy communities open up new possibilities for bringing electricity generation and consumption together in the region. Behind this idea are individuals, households, and businesses who want to use energy more consciously and help shape the regional energy supply.
With our video, we aim to clearly present the concept of EEG WIEN – even for those who are not yet familiar with energy communities. The English version also makes the film accessible to people who prefer to learn about it in English.
More videos are planned.
We plan to grow our YouTube channel step by step. In the future, we want to regularly answer questions about energy communities, provide insights into the work of our association, and present energy-related topics in an easily understandable way.
We'd love for you to watch our first video and share it with anyone who might be interested. 📺⚡
