New DUO tariffs: Higher remuneration for PV feed-in - EEG Vienna

Good news for all operators of photovoltaic systems:
The Vienna Energy Community (EEG Vienna) expands its tariff range and introduces two new ones with immediate effect DUO tariffs one. This means that producers benefit from a even higher compensation for their solar power.

The new tariffs combine feed-in to our EEG VIENNA with additional participation in the BEG VIENNA. This creates a stronger regional energy network – and at the same time a more attractive remuneration for producers.

Why DUO?

With the new DUO tariffs, we want to motivate even more people to share their self-generated electricity within our energy community. Through additional participation in the BEG VIENNA Part of the energy will also be distributed throughout Vienna – this strengthens the regional energy supply and enables better remuneration models.

A prerequisite for both DUO tariffs is therefore a additional feed-in of at least 30 % (participation factor 30) into the BEG VIENNA.

An overview of the new DUO tariffs

Kombi DUO

10.15 cents per kWh
VAT-free according to § 6 para. 1 no. 27 UStG.

This tariff is aimed at all participants who

Electricity feed into our EEG Vienna and
at the same time Obtain electricity from the energy community.

An additional requirement is a Feed-in of at least 30 % (TNF30) units into the BEG Vienna.

The tariff is Available now.

Producer DUO

9.85 cents per kWh
VAT-free according to § 6 para. 1 no. 27 UStG.

This tariff is suitable for everyone who

want to feed electricity into the grid exclusively
and do not obtain electricity from the EEG.

Here too, a prerequisite is... Feed-in of at least 30 % (TNF30) units into the BEG Vienna.

The tariff is also Available now.

Who are the DUO tariffs interesting for?

The new tariffs are particularly attractive for:

Operators of Photovoltaic systems
Households with high electricity production
Participants who want to optimize feed-in tariffs
members who actively participate in both energy communities want

The combination of EEG WIEN and BEG WIEN means that more locally generated energy is used directly in the region.
